Cleaning drive by CRPF, Railways

The Central Reserve Police Force Group Centre, Pallipuram, and Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division joined hands on Thursday to organise a cleaning drive and a cleanliness campaign.

About 800 policemen participated in the drive and about 3,500 bag full of waste along the 15-km stretch from Karamana to Kazhakuttom railway station were cleared.

The entire 15 km was divided into six sections. The drive simultaneously started from Thiruvananthapuram Central, Pettah, Kochuveli and Kazhakuttom stations. The motto of the campaign was clean and plastic-free stations. DIG/RPF Ajay Bharatan, Commandant, CRPF center, Pallippuram, Rajesh Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager Rajesh Agrawal, and Additional Divisional Railway Manager T. Kuppan, were among those who attended.
